What is a CHE Campus?

Our Campus are extensions of CHE providing tuition-free enrichment programs throughout Colorado. Each Campus is open to the whole community and offers hands-on learning, arts, STEM, and more. They are unique and designed to complement homeschool education with high-quality, engaging classes. A CHE Campus can be made up of two or more homeschool families in Colorado wanting to amplify their homeschooling. Campuses access funding for flexible and approved academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Each CHE Campus works under the guidance of a Campus leader, who is compensated for organizing the CHE Campus, maintaining program quality, and reporting monthly on how the funds have been spent.
  • Each CHE Campus works under the guidance of a Campus leader, who is compensated for organizing the CHE Campus, maintaining program quality, and reporting monthly on how the funds have been spent.
  • CHE Campus leaders design a yearly educational plan and budget.
  • Each CHE Campus must provide 90 hours of enrichment per semester, an average of 5 hours a week.

Four Steps to Become a CHE CHE Campus Leader

Apply

Complete the application process with required references, background check, etc.

Gather

Recruit at least one other family and 2-15 students.

Create

Submit a plan for the year with your activities, ensuring at least 90 hours of enrichment per semester.

4

Make it Happen

Use the Campus budget to manage and document spending for approved services, teaching supplies, and mileage.
