Contractor Coordinator
Summary
The Contractor Coordinator manages the onboarding, compliance, and engagement of CHE’s contractor network, including Enrichment Service Providers (ESPs), Contracted Instructional Specialists, Guest Teachers, and other instructional partners. This role supports strategic growth by ensuring all contractors meet CHE’s standards and state requirements, while also planning events, maintaining records, and nurturing contractor relationships.

Compensation Range
$23.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Hiring Timeline

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding and compliance for all contractors, including background checks and required documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contractor agreements, services, and status
- Coordinate and execute Vendor Day events, including planning, communication, and on-site support
- Support outreach for new contractor agreements in alignment with CHE’s enrichment offerings and strategic needs
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Director to improve contractor systems and workflows
- Provide clear, friendly communication to current and prospective contractors regarding requirements, expectations, and upcoming opportunities
Location
- Remote position with flexible weekly hours (20–25 per week).
- Availability during standard office hours (M-F 9:00a - 5:00p)
- Seasonal workload peaks during onboarding periods.
- Occasional travel required for events or in-person meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with background check and fingerprinting protocols
- Experience working with homeschool, nonprofit, or educational vendors
- Comfort with tools such as Airtable, Google Workspace, and digital communication platforms
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, HR support, or contractor/vendor management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills for working with external partners
- Event coordination experience and ability to manage logistics across multiple teams
