Systems Engineer
Summary
The Systems Engineer at Colorado Homeschool Enrichment (CHE) will design, implement, and maintain our digital infrastructure, supporting operational efficiency and growth. This critical role is responsible for workflow automation, system optimization, and managing platforms such as Airtable, Stacker, and Google Suite. The Systems Engineer provides essential support, ensures system reliability, and oversees IT operations, directly impacting CHE’s mission.
At-Will Statement
All employment with Colorado Homeschool Enrichment (CHE) is “at-will,” which means that either the employee or CHE may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice, subject to applicable federal and Colorado state laws. Nothing in any job posting, description, or CHE policy shall be interpreted to alter the at-will nature of employment.

Compensation Range
$55,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience.

Hiring Timeline
Interviews will take place Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. Hire will be made by August 29th, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital system architectures for organizational efficiency and scalability.
- Maintain the health, security, and reliability of digital platforms, including Airtable and Stacker.
- Develop automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.
- Address technical requests, including troubleshooting, onboarding, and system customization.
- Oversee IT Help Desk operations for timely technical issue resolution.
- Manage IT contractors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely project completion.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies aligned with CHE’s objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive, accessible documentation of system architecture, configurations, and workflows.
Location
- Remote role based in Colorado
- Some travel may be required for team meetings or trainings
- Standard work hours with flexibility during onboarding seasons or audits (9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools (Zapier, APIs from Bill.com, Google Workspace, Trello).
- Familiarity with platform-specific scripting (Airtable, Stacker) and cloud-based tools (AWS, Replit).
- Knowledge of database management, automated reporting systems, and data cleaning.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and web development, especially in platform integrations.
- Expertise in integrating APIs for seamless data transfer, including AI-driven processes (e.g., OpenAI).
- Strong understanding of AWS and Replit environments, including deployment, configuration, and integration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and proactive collaboration skills.
